LifePlay’s modular swing set components allow you to expand your playground equipment, alter your layout, and add or change accessories as your family dynamic dictates. Wooden swingsets can have hundreds of parts that can be difficult to assemble, but LifePlay is simple. You can easily add an extra slide, a climbing wall, or even a sandbox. Design the tree house layout and accessories that fit your yard, your lifestyle and your children.

Our residential playground equipment swing sets are durable, attractive and free-standing. They’re designed to be stable enough so adults can swing, slide, climb and get in on the fun, without the need to dig holes for installation. Although structurally unnecessary, you may cement your unit in and we offer an optional anchoring package for your convenience.

All of our hardware is commercial grade steel. Zinc coating is used to strengthen and protect against rust.

We use 13 gauge commercial standard 3½" O.D. posts for guaranteed strength and durability. This is a treehouse built to last!

Our powder-coated steel tubing offers lasting color fastness and is highly rust resistant. Unlike wooden playground equipment which may require regular sanding, painting and can rot, crack and warp, LifePlay’s swing sets need very minimal maintenance.

Our goal is to provide aesthetics "above the fence" and FUN "below the fence." We offer bright Primary Colors (Red, Yellow and Blue) to WOW the kids and Earth Tones (Hunter Green, Pearl and Moccasin) so your playground stylishly complements the look of your home and yard.

Easy Installation

Installation is easy! Factory finished attachment points denote almost no on-site hole drilling to assemble and install components or attach activities. Bottom line — it takes less time to assemble and has fewer parts than comparable wooden swing sets. Wanting to build a swingset? No problem; a few hours and you’re finished with our metal swing sets.

We happen to be located next door to Lifetime Products, a world leader in manufacturing, and specialists in metals and plastics. Our manufacturing relationships mean that almost all of the components necessary to produce our products are manufactured start to finish in one factory, here in the United States.

Performance Design's plastic and metal components are furnished by leading industry suppliers, and coupled with our own experienced design and manufacturing teams, the end result is an exceptional consumer product. We offer in-house, state-of-the-art powder coating technology, innovative designs, aesthetically pleasing color combinations and outstanding value merged into a great recreational product.

Metalworks

Steel is a major component of our products. Steel parts arrive at our manufacturing facility by truck where they will be powder-coated for final assembly into one of our playground systems. The heat treated powder-coat finish makes the steel frames of our products rust- and scratch-resistant.

Plasticworks

Another key material we work with is polyethylene. Polyethylene is the type of plastic used for our play set roofs, tabletops, sandboxes, climbing wall and many other components.

What makes polyethylene special? It has superior strength and durability. It's lightweight, it won't crack, chip or peel; and, it's stain resistant.
